Belfast Castle

Event 9 will be in Belfast Castle on Wednesday 10th August.

Final Details From the Organiser:

The courses have now been finalised and sent to the printer - so no changing now. The assembly area will be in the car park above the childrens play area, near to the castle. There will be two courses on offer.

The short will be very suitable for newcomers and also juniors. It will be on paths all the way and is 1.5 km long.

The longer course has been restricted due to the severe undergrowth in the lower slopes and the desire not to make the course have too much climb. The emphasis will be on route choice with some slightly more difficult control sites. Full leg cover is recommended on this one due to nettles between two specific controls (depending on your route choice you might be able to avoid them!). The long course is 3.2km with 100m climb.

Don't forget that you can print off a copy of the registration slip and have it filled out before coming along on the night. It will help speed things up for you a little.
