Handicap Adjustment Factor
When competing in any orienteering event, there are a number of
standard age classes in which you can compete. By indicating your
age class on the registration slip at the WEE series, we will be
able to allocate a hanidcapped time for your run. Thus all competitors
can compete against each other, independent of their actual age.
The following adjustment factors will be used in the 2007 series.
The adjustment factors used have been derived from a number of sources,
and follow on from those used in the 2006 WEE Series.
It should be noted that the ages used to decide which class you
belong to, is the age that you will be on 31st December 2007.
