Thanks to everyone who turned up for a run yesterday evening and I hope you enjoyed what Ward Park had to offer (small, but perfectly formed). The map needs a few amendments made to it, so I hope it did not spoil your enjoyment too much.
Again, thanks to all the Helpers who make setting up these WEE events possible.
InstructionsWe're back! The first event of the August WEE series moves to Ward Park in Bangor.
Ward Park covers an area of 37 acres and is one of the most highly regarded town parks in Ireland.
This is an open park run so there is very little vegetation to worry about, but as always I would still recommended full leg cover.
Registration will be at the (MOO) from 6.30pm. Starts will be from 7.00-7.45 pm. Courses close at 8.30 pm.
As usualy both Long and Short courses will be available.
Length of courses approx 3.5km and 2.1km.
If this is your first event, don't worry - there will be plenty of people about to help you get started.
See you there!
DirectionsParking/Registration for the event will be at the Ward Arras Playing Fields, Gransha Road, BANGOR, BT20 4TN (just past the tennis courts, heading out from the town centre)
