Event 9: Barnetts Demesne
|Date||Wed 29th Jun|

|Organiser||David Lambe |
|Planner||Joe McClure (e-mail)|
So there we have it. The last night of the WEE until August. And what a night it was.
Joe had 2 excellent courses planned, and a turn-out of nearly 100 (including pairs) made for an eventful evening.
Did you get caught out at 111/112 ? Quite a lot did, and a few of those are seasoned regulars. It did cause a lot of amusement and head scratching back at the finish.
Very positive comments received back at the MOO and all credit to Joe on his 1st event as planner.
Thank you yet again to my team of helpers, just could not do it without you.
It's not difficult, so why not dip a toe in and volunteer for August as we are still short of a few organisers.
Next event Bangor Castle 3rd August.
Happy holidays everyone...
InstructionsThe 9th event of the WEE series brings us back again to Barnetts Park.
The park incorporates Barnett Demesne, which was formerly a private estate landscaped during the 1830's. Today Barnetts Park is part of the Lagan Valley Regional Park.
Registration will be at the (MOO) from 6.30pm. Starts will be from 7.00-7.45 pm. Courses close at 8.30 pm.
If you think you will be a while please arrive early. Long and short courses will be available. Length of courses approx 4k and 2k.
Groups more than welcome. If you want to register as a group please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
If you have run in previous WEE events, please check for your number (PIN-CODE) on the side of the MOO. It speeds up registration, cuts down on the queues, and makes things easier for this one fingered typist.
DirectionsCar park and entrance signposted from the A55 Outer Ring Road, near the House of Sport roundabout.
Metro Services: 8A-8C (get off at Dub shops, follow Dub Lane).
